Question: Do you like this little poem, which was deleted for solicitation earlier!?

Prescience!?
by C!.S!. Scotkin

I see a sunny day on Mars
A red reflection to the stars!.
Air out the words within my head
All musty from misuse, or dread!.

I now must at the ready be,
And may I take two cats with me!?
Some books I will need for my mind
And things less useful stay behind!.

I need my brave computer, Jack
I’ve no idea when we’ll be back
When I’ve been to the Golden Dome
Will I be missed at all, back home!?

I see so many friends on Mars
With Poems flying to the stars
And am I up to this great trip!?
Or will I write a Pome and slip!?

I fear I write a pome tonight
I pray it gives you some delight,
Despite clichés to wish on stars,
I hope to be with you on Mars!.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Stop near the sun,
Halfway to Mars,
For Snicker's fun
Or a Milky Way bar!.

I eat space junk after I'm violated!.
It soothes me!.

You can take the cats and Jack, but jack might feel lonely!. The computers in the communal dome will be voice commanded, and use heads-up displays that will seem to float in mid-air!. The cats will even have holographic mice to play with, and maybe an egret or two to stalk!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Both this poem and your photo convince me that you are a sweet, smart, and cute lady!. I'm not sure why, but this put a big smile on my face!. I guess I don't really need to know why!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Strictly in accordance with community guidelines, I think Yahoo had the right idea first time round as far as the subject goes, but not necessarily on the grounds of solicitation!. The rhyme's okay though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think I shall go on to live on the moon
I' ll take a guitar and some crazy old loon
Twas the man on the moon who called for me
So I shall go there for to be with he!.!.
I shall wave to you all on Mars!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We are together on Mars!.
The stars you see are
friends from earth
who willingly made
the journey to the
Golden Dome
of home!.

Loved your poem!.tWww@QuestionHome@Com

You are already there!Www@QuestionHome@Com

They have a chair reserved in your name!.!.!.little card that says welcome, the whole nine yards!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How do I get there!? Love your little pome!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If one fine day I get to Mars
Will I write poems as well
As one who every effort bars
Unvarnished truths to tell!.

Would I be better than I am
Or would I be quite worse
And if the former would you dam
My honeyed stream and curse!.

Or would you then forgive my sins!? --
I know not what I've done!.
On Earth the pure of spirit wins,
With that I'm sure you'll run!.

You've sold your soul to fantasy
There is no Golden Dome --
There's only just this place you see
The one that you call home!.

But you are compensated yet
For trips that you might miss;
Just think of all the folks you've met
And then remember this:

One played with numbers, not with love,
'Twas all truth you were told!.
The hawk you know; what of the dove,
If I may be so bold!.

I love this world, I think I'll stay,
Where everything is real!.
I'll think of you when you're away
That much I will reveal!.

But if you ever miss a beat
And if I lend a hand
Just listen please and don't retreat
Just take it in and stand

Prepared to take that simple gift
That's given free and clear
Because forgiveness knows no rift --
And life is so, so dear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Soliciting at your age, Grandma!? Well, I don't know whether to be shocked or filled with admiration!. I suppose it could be one way to supplement the old pension!.

I can't remember my previous critique apart from reprimanding some-one who hadn't read your poem all the way to the end and then had the cheek to criticise your spelling!. (You know, I'm getting awful (USA) awfully (UK) crabby in my old age!)
The longing for Mars grows apace!.!.!.I can feel the impatience in the air!.!.!.a mass evacuation would leave a huge gap here in A!Y though -do you think we'd be allowed a daily commute!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
