This is about a druggie, i am fairly new to poetry and enjoy writing poems!. Tell me what you think and feel free to give me suggestions!.

Sitting here unaware
Looking but not working
Given the time to prepare
Wasted here from snorting
Once was, always is
Unable to do what once did
Trying, but who am i to kid
Unable to unscrew this lid
Slowly, tightening its grip
Like a snake finishing its prey
Please, i am at my wit
I want to change
My lord this cant be it
I haven't fulfilled my wage
Forgotten what life was
I look back, not seeing
whats left is not set
shouldn't be kept

A lot of writers have been drug users!. They find writing is an outlet for them to tell what their life is, what the addiction is!.

Your poem does an awesome job of showing that you are high, don't want to be, don't know your way back!.

you should try to get that published!. I really like that!. i believe there is a site called
