Question: Can poetry be written on a mountaintop!?
Mountain Top Morning

Alone here on this mountain top,
I sometimes hear the bunny hop!.
The bluebirds sing their lovely tunes,
Some days I read these ancient runes!.

The wind will whisper through the trees,
Before the hawk the rabbit flees!.
The statues in the clouds on high,
All wink at me as they float by!.

The morning cool with mountain air!.
I sit and watch, without a care!.
The dew has settled on the ground,
The bees are flying all around!.

The hummingbirds from flowers eat,
I see these things here from my seat!.
One lady orchestrates it all,
For Mother Nature's ten feet tall!.
