A shooting star
A forlorn wish
A broken heart
A tender kiss
Of two in love
That love could be
On such an earth
As we see
A crashing wave
A speck of hope
A morning dove
An antelope
Two lovers’ arms
Embrace the day
Two dancers
Graceful as ballet
A swirl a swoop
A nimble twist
An unsaid thought
A murky mist
Eyes that stare
So blank, so bright
Darker then
The depths of night
A burning hand
A fervent touch
A pain intense
A bit too much
So close and yet so far away
A fist enfolding two separate hearts
That can not see what lies ahead
But only know they are apart
Until that day
Where they are one
Not for now
But it will come

i really like your poem, perhaps love!. okay, love!. its wonderful really, and that it rhymes throughout without being forced is!.!. amazing!. i think its about, two people that love each other!.!. but live far away, or at least dont see each other very much, and theyre experiencing different things but all the while thinking of their loved one!. and about how someday they will become one, so its hopeful but sad as well!. and it kind of feels like it may never happen!. and then the sadness will come!. also, ''darker then'' should be darker thAn , since youre comparing two things not saying when!.
