If you are implying that poets are sweet, gentle, loving purveyors of all that is good I would have to say NO!

Poets are humans, with all the faults and cracks and individual variations that implies!. Angels are an idealised concept that have as much hope of being realised in human form as finding three hundred honest politicians agreeing on the best way forward!

if earth were like heaven, poets would really have angels!.!.!.i have also heard a myth that those who are poets on earth were angels at heaven!. god sent them down for the purpose of singing songs to mankind!. the reveal the mysteries of truth and beauty!.

Semper, I'm quite sure that Angels are humble, gentle, loving souls, with no malice, hatred, vitriol, venom, vindictiveness, spitefulness or any of the other vices that I see in quite a few of the so-called poets on this site!. So my answer would be "it ain't necessarily so"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If this were so, there would be heavenly music from poets!. But what would happen to all the great poetry about the Human Condition!. About war and its consequences!? About hope for the future!?
