Electorate Elect
What’s another day!? Another week!?
Another month!? Another year!?
Rushing to fix we must ‘prudentize’
for our electorate demands it be!.
No hidden agendas here we attest!.
See our hands outstretched the aisles!.
Partisan ways!? No, No, No not our way!
For our electorate demands it be!.
Approval ratings!? Weather changes too!
Of course we know the voter’s mind!?
Another day, another week, no problem be!.
‘Prudentize’ we will, ‘prudentize’ we’ll be!.
For our electorate demands it be!
Gullible, aren’t they!? No, I didn’t say that!
It must have been across the aisle
For I am always ‘prudentizingly’ prudent!

This is pretty good!. I have a personal reason for stumbling at "Prudentize" because I have a good friend named Pruden!.
The meter is good, but not perfect!. I think this one needs a haircut!.

Wisdom, I think comes to late, comes to the, "age of 'experience'"
Maybe that it why it is said, Youth is wasted on the young!.
and what happens can not be stopped, a process of growth that has no
end, as long as good/evil exist!. "The rich get richer the poor get poorer!." Cynical I be of their motives, always yes!.

Apathy
Remembering the old days when I used to have a cause;
I know now I was in this just because… well, just because!.
If your persona is defined by adamant belief
what happens when you’ve lost your faith!?
Now I can feel the grief
of youthful idealism gone awry
and I don’t even have to question why!.
The daffodils are in full bloom; the grass is radiant green;
the war is half a world away, not felt, not heard, not seen,
not even thought about by selfish people here at home;
the price of gasoline is more important!. This sick game
we play! It’s ignorance; it’s arrogance;
it seems that one can’t make a difference!.
A baby in his car seat with a plastic steering wheel
thinks he’s really driving , and I know just how he feels!.
I believed I made a difference, too, with votes, protests,
debates, and arguments – it’s all political incest!
I regret the times I was confused
by partisans by whom I have been used!.

Poems was good, sound, enjoyable read!.!.!. and politically maybe a little precocious, we'll see!.
It is not enough reason,
for you to vote for a man,
only because you want,
to right a wrong in this land!.
It should be because you,
are similar or the same,
in both belief and ideology,
not the spin that's oh so lame!.
We should not let the mud,
others sling drive us to react,
we should be self driven,
by our conscience when we act!.
