Question: Why are dreams sometimes so agitating yet BORING!?
Sleep diffused and restless
Broken by intruder
Breaks the connection
And puts the mind in action
Drifting into flight path
Thoughts now coming
Not having been anticipated
A loud noise awakens
The nerves agitated
Scream out incessantly
STOP!
Abruptly now
The process aborted
The subject seeks refuge
Fingers in ears
…Not working
To the kitchen
The noise follows
Under the bed in the basement
It will not be denied
No place for refuge
To be established
No place to hide
Wakes up
Abruptly
Crisply
The words dash
Lash out
Will you
PLEASE
STOP SNORING!!!

Be thankful, poetically, that that snoring was NOT from a burglar that found nothing to steal!. You can run, but you can't hide!.!.!.dreams have talons!.
Now, whether those talons be razor-sharp, or gentle, is left up to the dream!. They can scrape answers into your soul!.
Great poem! You are a fine poetess!Www@QuestionHome@Com
