I already know that this is a metaphor but can you please tell me what two things are bring compared!? Thanks to anyone who answers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: the crying of the soldier when he cut his hand, to the crying of a baby!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Thats a similie because it used the word "like!." It is comparing a baby to the crying soldier!. A metaphor would be "he's a baby for crying!."Www@QuestionHome@Com It is a similie which basically compares the crying of the soldier to the crying of a baby!.Www@QuestionHome@Com A simile has the word like or as in it and in this case it has "like" so it's a simileWww@QuestionHome@Com Sorry, but it isn't a metaphor!.
