be prepared for the worst critiques those are always the best since it means someone actually cares enough bout helping you to take the time to point out all the mistakes
dont force anything let it come to you!. if its forced itll show and sound like crap
read loads of poems by other and see how they are characterizedWww@QuestionHome@Com

Write about anything and everything!.
Ask for criticism, and keep an open mind to what people say!.
The harsher a critic is, they more they'll help your writing!.

Yes, read poems by famous poets!. And really soak them in!. Then use some of their tricks and some of your own to write good poems!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
