Question: Does this poem reflect feelings of being "Submerged"!?
Submerged

Soaking in tub, submerged in thought
hot water has failed to relax
slowly take in a breath
lower head beneath water line
eyes closed, ears empowered
silence a welcomed relief
buried in this water tomb
my lungs now fight for air
but peace discovered, new
disenfranchised feeling
cut off from world without
tempts me to prolong
senseless submerged state
chest muscles work, contracting
a choice must be made
breathe in surrounding water
making me one with new found peace
or raise head above its surface
deep breath of air to take
the latter was the choice I made
only to learn air
can indeed be
heavier than water!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
