Question: What do you think of the poem that I made for my Grandpa!?
Hi!. I made a poem for my grandpa, what do think of the poem!? If you have any suggestions or corrections please tell me!. Thanks! I need your comments!. Thanks! :-)
Here's the poem!

Memories were not yet made when I first opened my eyes
I couldn’t understand a thing but I felt my mother’s love
Everything was brand new in this place called earth
I never thought that I would travel a long way

I learned to walk, I learned to talk
I learned to dream, I learned to fight
I learned what I had to learn
Life wasn’t that easy for a young man

I had three wonderful siblings, a mother and a father
And we all happily shared one roof together
I thought it would always stay that way
But we had different destinies and different roads to take

I said good bye to the little boy that I once was
It was a new phase of life for me
I became wiser and braver
I was ready to take a step forward

A love story was made
The one that would always be engraved in my heart
I met the perfect woman that God sent me
And blessed me with a new branch of family

Now I have reached my golden years
Carrying a lot of wonderful memories
Look at me now and be still
It’s the newborn who created all these memoriesWww@QuestionHome@Com

He'll love it!. Really !.!.
Your poem is beautiful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perhaps a tad too ambitious!. I am sure he would love any poem you wrote, but I would suggest one or two special times you had together!. Maybe you can use his eyes to tell of his similar experiences with his Granddad, like fishing!. Continuation of life and kin!. Another idea would be to use his hand as a metaphor for strength, love, wisdom, etc!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

* Yours is a nice poem - but it stops where you have become a grandfather yourself!.

* All the stanzas are about you!. There's nothing about your grandpa!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
