What makes a man!?
What gives him cause!?
What drives his plan!?
Who fixes his flaws!?
I got food, air, and water
What else do I need!?
They say I can carry on
But I don’t have you
What makes my mind!?
What gives me wisdom!?
What gives me freedom!?
Who keeps me from becoming blind!?
I got letters, words, and books
What else do I need!?
My mind should be satisfied
But I don’t have you
What makes my heart!?
What gives me force!?
What keeps me on course!?
Who is my missing part!?
I got friends, family, and brothers

If you're not using metrics get rid of the rhymes!. If you want the rhymes, then you need Metrics!.
Why is it I got instead of I have!? Dialect should be left out of your poem, unless it is in all of your writing, which it is not here!.
