Question: What say you to "Pay it Forward" poem!?
Pay it Forward

Pardon me, sir, can you spare a dime!?
While you're at it, may I ask for more!?
You see, this morning when new sun arose
I did not see its light!.
Can you spare me your eyes!?
Oh, and also, chirping birds
I know they did greed me, but
morning tune I did not hear!.
May I use your ears!?
Kind sir, your generosity knows
no end, it seems!
My spirit has lost its flight!.
Will you gift me the wings of yours!?
One last request before you go,
my pen is without hope!.
Do you have words of beauty and joy!?
This page deserves them so!.
No fear, my angel in disguise,
walk you in faith a few steps more!.
These things in abundance I did possess
but offered them to one who lacked!.
What you have kindly shared with me today
will surely be given back to you by another
a hundred fold!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Love it!.
One can only hope that there is ample remuneration down the road for generosity toward those who need it -every so often each of us is in need of a helping hand in one form or another!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My words,
my ears,
my eyes,
my hands
are yours!.

My wings,
if you are intent on flight!.

but to give

an undoing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I once read about someone who carried out random acts of kindness for no other reason than it pleased him to do so!. What he found over time, though, was that these acts always came back to him eventually and nearly always magnified!. It was as if the Universe was saying Thank You!.

I try to do this when I am not being a self contained knot of personal worries and grievances and I find it works in odd ways, but it works!. Your poem has captured the essence, I think, of selfless giving in parable form!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
