In This Light, I Can See The door closed behind her, I knew She wanted me there, to stay, to say Things she never heard Words of longing, of love, of lost lives As I sat I saw, she had exposed so much to me Her hurt, her heart Her life torn apart and rebuilding The light went off around her, I knew She wanted me there, to hold, to touch Places she had forgotten Touches of care, of kindness, of new life As I touched I felt, she had awakened so much in me My hope, my heart My life healing and beginning The sun eased up on us, we knew We wanted to be there, to see, to learn Times we knew could be Learn of hope, of dreams, of beauty As we learned we believed, we saw the future in us Our worlds, our souls Our lives opening and growing ?rad092408 Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A very poignant, heartfelt work, very well written without excessive words or excessive emo!. Www@QuestionHome@Com When the dark fades, yes, light can be seen, but also, when light falls, a new world opens, spinning, cavorting, dancing in between!. In shadows lie the true beauty of both the realms!. But the beauty of this poem eclipses even shadow!. Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com So, you want to say "I'm sorry"!. Sweetheart, I'm a woman!.
