okay, here's a poem I wrote!.
i just don't know what kind of poem it is!.!.!.

p!.s!. i am not a professional poem person, so no insults : )

Confidence

I am confidence
I give you braveness
I offer you courage
I give you the ability to overcome obstacles
I am at the forefront of your mind, always
I am what your dreams are made of
I feel your body with the power to keep moving forward
My only enemy is your lack of self esteem

so!.!.!.what kind of poem did I write, I need to know for English class :)

This is free verse with a parallelistic prosody (run your eye down the left hand margin to see what I mean by that)!. And it is a metaphor, comparing "I" to "confidence" (a very good idea by the way)!. A simile would be, "I am like confidence", see the difference!? You may not be a professional poem person, but I think with some patience and a little work you could become a pretty good poem person!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
