Question: Do you feel like I do about Autumn!?
The fall is here, time to get to work
Around the corner winter does lurk!.
Leaves to rake,eaves and gutters to clean out
Rinse out the leaves stuck in the spout!.
Caulking to be added to windows and doors
There is no rest from the unending chores
Slim-my hosta leaves,wet grass to put in a bag!.
Trellis to be secured, that roses made sag!.
Frost has done it's damage to the beautiful deck pot!.
Have you ever smelled the earth of the flowers as they rot!?
Patio furniture to be stored until the early spring
Getting ready for the winter is a tiring thing!.
Got to go as there is so much to be done
Who said Autumn could be so much fun!?
If you think I'm being an negative baby
I'm not!--- well----! just a bit! ---maybe!.
I'm obviously in a depressing,ornery rut
Aching muscles, Autumn is a pain in the butt!.
To-night I go to bed with Ben Gay
Someone new to snuggle with, what can I say!.
