Question: Thanks to Joy, in prompting her I prompted me!. Do you like it!?
Just a simple, absolutely true poem!.

The Joys of Being a Granny

Jacob and I were in the garden one day
Just idling our time away,
Discussing the relative merits of Spider-man
Over Power Rangers, when
'Nanny' he quietly said,
Looking over the rim of his plastic cup,
'What do you want to do
when you grow up!?'
From the mouths of babes
Often the truth flows
'Who knows!?'

When I stop believing teddies are real
When picking daisies no longer appeals
When I stop chasing falling leaves
When I can ignore a child's tug on my sleeve
When found sticks don't always mean a pirate fight
And when I can't pretend I'm a lion - and I bite!
Hopefully that time will be only when
God turns out my light!.

(How can A!Y think this belongs in computer/security!?)

Granny
I see by your poem
there is some comparison
to Spiderman and Power Rangers!.
Chrildren always like to spend time
with their grandparents!.
Going places helping grandma and grandpa out!.
They can learn about their history
and kids can talk about the future!.
If there should be one!.

From one Granny to another--Loved it!.But having grand-daughters it is all princesses,Barbie dolls,Prince Charming, dress-up,grand-ma's jewelery box!.Isn't it wonderful when you can be re-born and be a child again when you play with the grand-kids!.Seems when I had my own small ones, there was so much to do!.There was never enough time to enjoy them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As is, wonderful!. Editing will only make it better!. I would look at repeating the question through the poem!. By asking you he is also asking himself by feeling out your feelings!. Seems like precocious to me!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

being a tomboy my Grandma would often say," Cynthia Anne, stop it and be a lady" I think I must have been 6 when I informed her I didn't want to a lady, I wanted to be like her!. It worked!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
