Not I His razor sharp teeth Gleam brightly In the moonlight His hair disheveled His eyes vibrantly feral Holding me in fascination He creeps in Touching me With his large paw Necessitates my turning Looking in his eyes Wildly burning I see a reflection --- A recollection And I Am not afraid Now he’s retreating Walking slowly Away from me Looking back to see And I follow And we run Free and wild Till the morning light Finds me waking In my bed Within the 4 walls Which confine me Smiling…… As my dreams fade to daylight………!.and vague nuance Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Your poem moved me emotionally!. Wolves I love to dance with wolves by the moonlight and have their fur bash violently against my skin!. I love the morning after when the wolves are gone, and I am left alone to bask naked in the sunlight!. Sunshine my sweet sun please hurry on your way!.!.!. for I relish your setting below the horizon!. !.!. for only dusk will bring a smile on my face so I can once again dance with the glorious wolf and feel alive again!.!. !.!.!. wolves only take one mate their whole life!. they are loyal, territorial, and so protective of one another they will sacrifice their own life!. I have many items related to wolves in my home!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Unfortunately I am not a poet, but, what I see in this poem is that something in life caused a great fear that was always there affecting the writers life!. The wolf was subconsciously testing that fear!. When she looked into his eyes she realized that she had dealt emotionally with the fear and the wolf saw this!. I believe they both had a great celebration because of the resulting joy of being free at last!. She woke up smiling vaguely remembering the dream but feeling the happiness!.
