Scotkin Now my house is mine again The guests have gone back home I thought I’d take a second And try to write a pome!. But after two long trying weeks When nothing sounds profound (Grace, you bite my toe again And you’re off to the pound!) Where was I!? Oh, yes… The moral of this little tale Should be so plain to see Send Mama home with a kiss and a hug, She’ll never live with me!. Sure, she’s mellowed some with years Though really not a lot, Says she just hates Florida, It’s just too beastly hot!. “I have to have the turning leaves” “I have to have the snow” So off to great North East Land, On a big jet plane you go!. Which is why I live in Florida Thank heaven!.!.!.I’m not an only child! I thought it was horribly selfish of her to do this to me, but she almost cried when she found out i failed!. then later, when my dad sold the house, my parents moved out to south carolina to be close to my oldest brother!. they already know this one that i have no interest in taking care of them as they get older!.
