Physics says it’s possible
I’d like to think it true,
we could go to anywhen
by train, just me and you!.
!.
What price would we have to pay
to go and hear the Bard,
maybe watch young Lincoln
clean out a chicken yard!.

We could sail the Nile with Tut
Watch Moses on a hill
and see the Buddha teaching
our consciousness to fill!.

Would it be a shorter trip
way back when we were young,
To when we met and courted
Beneath a setting sun!.

All these things would be quite grand
We could do them in an hour,
But above all things, I want
my love, to see a Brachiosaur!.

Late Jurassic, mind the Allosaurus!.

I wish it was true, but there is no time travel!. Could we really see dinosaurs if there were no people at that time!? I guess that's why we've got imaginations, to let us do things and go places that we were never meant to see!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love this!.!.!.!.!.it flows so naturally and is light and amusing!.

I especially love the last couplet (made me chuckle!.!.!.isn't that a lovely word 'chuckle'!) This is one of those poems that could easily grace a Child's Garden of Verse - with illustrations!.

It would be a thrill to see primordial ooze once again and watch the first land mass forming from ooze into mud into firm ground!. It was a beautiful sight the first time, so I am sure I would enjoy it again!. I enjoyed the poem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
