The Center of the Heart By Arthur Dobrin

Some things are so beautiful,to hold them is to bring the sun to the center of the heart, these things on the tounge of the pages i hold these things in the eye of the spinning earth!. These things once said are again and agian Persimmon, rose, and cinnabar!. Some things are so beautiful to hold them is to die!.

i think what the poet is trying to say is that some things hold so much beauty, that just to touch them or experience them brings happiness!. i think it is just expressing the wonderful things in the world and that we long to hold them, giving examples of a fruit, flower, and mineral!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am not familiar with this poet, so perhaps I am off base, but I don't believe he is trying to say anything beyond the literal meaning: some things are really beautiful!. It works as a premise statement amplified by some very nice, intriguing images!. Sometimes we make the mistake of over analyzing and we get wrapped around the axle!.
