I think you hit the nail head on!. Bravo!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have written the second chapter of my autobiography!. I stayed in the woods when I wasn't a school!. I waded the creek in the summer and played on the ice in winter!. I climbed the trees and chased the chipmunks!. I had baby snakes in my shirt pockets when I wore a shirt!. I caught and tamed a baby squirrel, named him Petey!. I loved being in nature!. Sometimes it shows in some of my poetry!. I was a loner, always wandering, looking, learning, and enjoying!.

Then I grew up!. I still enjoy nature, but responsibilities keep me occupied way too much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A beautiful, descriptive poem, as always!.

My memories are so different!. Always at the beach, in every season!. My (our) parents did not overprotect us!. Miles and miles of Ocean and sand, secret hiding places, sea shells of every kind, treasures washed ashore, starfish, sand crabs, Ocean's moods and always, sunrises and sunsets!. It is the same today: Ocean consoling, speaking, shouting, whispering, angry, tender!. Forests frighten me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that those who cut forest trees and tamper with nature and its wild life don't have the guts to read this poem !.!. although they may have fluffy pillows, but never sweet dreams!.
Yeah, you brought me memories of the woods, and a low voice in the back-ground saying "Take me home!.!. country road!.!." to end up w/ a fluffy pillow!
Thanks, E!

I love the deepness of this poem!. It almost made me think of Goldilocks as she was wandeing lost through the forest till she found her place of refuge in the bear's home to rest for but a short while!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
