Question: Help on a poem please!?
I have to write a found poem for English class!.
A found poem is where you take words out of text (such as an article in a magazine or something) and make a poem out of it!.
I generally like doing this, but in this case, we have to use words from the notes we took on greek mythology!.
The words I choose from it are:
myth
greek
mythos
fiction
explain
unexplainable
religious
entainment
explore
terrifying
lives
god
human/superhuman
tales
extraordinary
destiny
fate
culture
reflection
heros
escape
lonliness
And because she enjoys making things complicated for us, the poem has to answer the question: what is mythology!? and What function does it play in our lives!?
I usually dont like to ask for help on things like this, but I REALLY dont know where to start!.!.!. I feel so overwhelmed!.!.!. Can anyone gives me ANY ideas!? I would be very thankful and might even award 10 points! I just need help getting started!.!.!.

okay so i htink fdirst thing you need to do is decide on the format of hte poem
will it rhyme at all/
will it rhyme every other line, or every pair of lines!?
mabye youll have one of those phrases at the end of each verse, even just one word, lke, "myhtology"
and so i think u should start talking about the actual mythology thing, even just usmmarize your notes, and in the alst verse or osmethign brting exampels of Heroes fmo ancient mytholog used today in CUlture in entertainment, etc!.
and a very helpful webstise is rhymezone!.com
if u are rhyming, then u can type in any word and it will giv u al of hte rhymes for that word
adn even if your not rhyming, it can also give you synonyms, antotnyms, definteiones etc!. so it can be cvery helpful

Why don't you google 'what is mythology'!? And start reading some myths!. I like Greek myths Read Midas Touch, Arachne, Cupid and Psyche!. There are Irish/Druid myths (I think)!. There's Romas myths!. And prob!. some others!.
When you go to class - ask the teacher where you can start - either in class or ask the teacher when class is over!. Do you have the teacher's email address that you can email her!?
I know it's daunting!. Best thing to do is start reading and gathering information and then asking questions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
write from a first person pov!. Think on the action words alone, then apply them to yourself using the guidelines from your teacher!. Become the nouns!. Good Luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
