VerseCover Verse:

Love You,
Grandma
and
Grandpa

Inside Verse:

We often take for granted
all the things grandparents do —
The help they give,
the praise, the care,
to mention just a few!.!.!.

But still we do appreciate
that “extra-special touch”,
And that’s the reason why you two
are loved so very much!

Here is one I wrote for my dad's retirement that could be adapted see changes at bottom

My heart is overwhelmed with love,
The more because you're far away!.
Though all the earth may quake and move,
Here is my love, here it will stay!.
Each time I feel my fortunes fail,
Realities stand in my way,
Or face a fearful, shudd’ring gale,
Memories of you hold each at bay!.

In quiet strength with every stride
Laced full of truth, unending love,
God’s character, my heart to guide,
Transforming grace, my fears remove!.
I treasure more than words could tell
These blessings, Dad, as gifts from you!.
I hope, in me, you see them well
And KNOW your life with pride I view!.

And if, by heaven’s wisdom gained,
Your grandson catches any good,
Will be from you what I’ve retained
To teach him as a father should!.
For never did an earthly son
Know more accepted tenderness
So he could send it back to one
With heart-felt peace and thankfulness!.
