Question: How to or not to write a poem!?
Jerome Stern in Writing Shapely Fiction says not end a story like this, but could you write a poem about one!?

And then I woke up
And then the alarm rang
He realized he was alone and blinked his third eye
It’s not a bad place to live – warm, dry, and nice padding
Doris, I’m gay
He slowly drew the thin razor across his wrists (and others suicides)
He kept walking deeper into the water

Typically I stay away from the darker way of writing, but here you asked!. I made some chages at the end to make it darker than intended!.

Dark Side of Love (darker version)

Where are you going,
what are you doing!.
damn you, damn you,
who are you screvving!.

No, no, I'm happy for you,
the silence from me is not that I'm muted,
I've nothing to say because of promises made
that leave the meaning of words diluted!.

"Always, till the end of time, forever,
I'd never hurt you" said without meaning!.
Words now a token of my spirit that's broken,
here take my throat it's primed for choking!.

Left with only two possessions to hold,
grab them they're fading rapidly,
a no longer saved and empty soul,
and a heart overflowing with apathy!.

With little left am I to smile and send
what remains of me for you to swallow,
and forgive and forget time that we spent,
that enabled you to leave me so hollow!.

Without plausible reason, I avoid the sign,
I lie to myself yet one more time,
as I call myself up with my last dime,
and tell myself don't commit this crime!.

Yes I'm left here at the crossroads to hell,
without feathery wings to travel,
with a bullet for my head to eternally end,
a failed love affair meant to last forever!.

(add next line if you need it)

whatever!.!.!. snap, click!.!. bang !.!. thump!.!.!. voidWww@QuestionHome@Com
