Loss of Mother Poem

Now that I am gone,
remember me with smiles and laughter!.
And if you need to cry,
cry with your brother or sister
who walks in grief beside you!.
And when you need me,
put your arms around anyone
and give to them what you need to give to me!.
There are so many who need so much!.
I want to leave you something --
something much better than words or sounds!.
Look for me in the people I've known
or helped in some special way!.
Let me live in your heart
as well as in your mind!.
You can love me most
by letting your love reach out to our loved ones,
by embracing them and living in their love!.
Love does not die, people do!.
So, when all that's left of me is love,
give me away as best you can!.

I will always remember you:
Mom,
I will always remember you
for who you are my mother
who always loved me unconditionally
I will always remember you
for the nights you stayed up
when I had nightmares
I will always remember you
for taking care of me when I was sick
or injured!.
I will now miss you and your smile
along with the good times of pleasure
the pain in my heart indicates the tears
I will cry at the funeral and the grave side!.
The memories of love fun I will cherish
and treasure!.
Your family and friends will certainly miss you
dearly!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

When my mother died I read from the Bible Old Testament Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 verses 1-9

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven,

a time to be born and a time to die

a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted

a time to kill and a time to heal

a time to break down and a time to build up

a time to weep and a time to laugh

a time to mourn and a time to dance

a time to throw away stones and a time to gather stones together

a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing

a time to seek and a time to lose

a time to keep and a time to throw away

a time to tear and a time to sew

a time to keep silence and a time to speak

a time to love and a time to hate

a time for war and a time for peace!.

My thoughts of comfort to you, love!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do Not Stand At My Grave and Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep!.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow!.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain!.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night!.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room!.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing!.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there!. I do not die!.

I am so sorry!.

When I was sad, you brought me to my happy place
When I needed a push, you put me in my rightful place

Your loss has made me cry and weep
Since you left me, I find it hard to sleep

But I know you are watching over me
I know I am alone but I'll always think of me as "we"

As I look into the stars at night
You not there gives me a fright

The only thing that keeps my brain straight
Is knowing it will never be too late

To imagine us listening to our favorite band
Or you and me hand-in-handWww@QuestionHome@Com
