I knew,
and I went anyway!.
I sought,
knowing that blindness
was the price!.

Foolish, perhaps,
knowing the end
before beginning,
and yet!.!.!.

The heart demands,
the mind falls,
paralyzed,
chained with red silk bindings
amongst rose petals
and burning candles!.

Eros, Cupid!
!.!.!.I cannot defy you,
even as I dangle
over the edge--

even as I fall,

I have to agree with you, I think love is worth it, even for a moment, if that is what it is to be! Old saying it is better to have loved than not to have loved at all!
And after the fall you have memories that live on forever in your mind!
