Question:

Places I Used To Go, Part III

There was a place of my youth I used to go!. A place of great importance to many!. A place where I was corrupted!. This corruption led to more and more corruption in my life!.

Sit!. Stand!. Kneel down and take it!. 6 Days a week, force fed beliefs I was not old enough to challenge!. Under the guise of Love, notions long held true by my parents, filled my gullet with disgust!. And I swallowed every ounce of it!. Never knowing better!.

My indoctrination!. My education, sullied by cloaked avengers who dispensed without concern!. Taunting me!. Teaching me!. Setting me up for the fall!. Guiding me down paths so dark, with closed eyes, I saw equally well!. Then the day came where the light shone through!.

After my Father's death, devastated, broken and racked with loss, I returned to the din of despair that was my school!. And with 4 words, I was eternally altered!. "It is Gods will"!. The ones in black garb spoke and like a lemming, I listened and believed!. And died inside this place!.
Never more to set foot!. Holy Name of Jesus Church!. Where my innocence was taken!.

I am sorry that you have been so wounded,,,so hurt,,The hardest part of forgiving ,,,,is to forgive,,,Totally opening yourself up and allowing yourself to believe ,,,again,,,,,I myself am a lapsed Catholic and for good reason ,,I have forgiven But I have never forgotten,,,, From kindergarten to seventh grade The nuns & priests ,,,,did their best ,,,to break me down,wear me down ,,To build me up in Their Image of GOD The short story !.!.!.I do not like hypocrite's I did not know that at the time that that was what it was ,,,,anyway I'm all over the place with my answer,,,, For Me it was ,,St Patrick's ,,,,I hope this makes some sort of sense ,,,,,,,,,Andy

I am so truly sorry for this awfulness that you as a mere boy had to endure!.
But I have just one thought,that is: Was Your Father Suffering in his illness!? For if he was,surely was that not Gods way of Taking him from his torment into a Peace and Tranquillity that your Father so deserved!.
This of course is just my way of looking at things!.
Just a thought!.

So much has been done in the name of Jesus that in hindsight, turns out to unleash hell into our lives!.
So tempting it is to taste vengence as sweet, cold, refreshing,
It's allure so grand!.
Remember that Jesus was a political dissodent of his day who challenged the religious empire of Temple Judaism and paid the ultimate price of martyrdom for saying what he believed to be true!.
Jesus is not Rome nor Canterbury nor the Crystal Palace!.
The Way, as it was called, was radical, revolutionary, dissodent, rebellious, challengng, hard!.
The most scandalous message this: that which you do to the least of these, you do also to me!. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and my paraprhase--give grace always, most especially to those whom you feel are undeserving of grace!.
I am sorry that in the name of my brother and teacher you were wounded!. I ask you to forgive us who follow Jesus of Nazareth and join us in prayer for the sinners within our church leadership!. Through forgiveness and grace is a way to what you seek!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
