Question: What's the meaning of this poem!?
I have to bring in a poem of robert frost and i chose this one:
Some say the world will end in fire
some say in ice
from what i've tasted of desier
i hold with those who favor fire
but if it had to persish twice
i think i know enough of hate
to say that for destruction ice
is also great
and would suffice

I'm pretty sure I understand the meaning, but just in case, I need some backup!. Thanks in advance :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Mr Frost is telling us how he things the world will end!. He's first choice is fire because he has felt the burning when one desires a lover!. He's second choice is ice because he has felt how man can despise, dislike, detest and loathe each other!. His summation is that either fire or ice would be acceptable because both are relevant!. Love is the greatest feeling,
Love is like a play,
Love is what I feel for you,
Each and every day,
Love is like a smile,
Love is like a song,
Love is a great emotion,
That keeps us going strong,
I love you with my heart,
My body and my soul,
I love the way I keep loving,
Like a love I can't control,
So remember when your eyes meet mine,
I love you with all my heart,
And I have poured my entire soul into you,
Right from the very start!.
