When night air brings chill
and morning’s light discovers
whitish residue shadows lurking
you awake to a season new, renewing!.

As fawns lose spotted camouflage
birds wing vees in reverse flight and
land begins to settle with leafy blankets
anticipating coldness… coming!.

Frolicking no longer, squirrels hoarding
as bees desperately seek flowers last drink
or sugared treats of picnic blanket guests
while smoke trails perfume leafy scents!.

Spring may give the poets words rebirth
but fall sings its special tune to captured ears!.
Warmth of fire and warmth of heart combine,
a renewal not of life but of love, love rekindled!.

Snuggle now, its snuggling time!.

I liked that last stanza!. It was like making a big, beautiful bouquet out of all the wonderful Spring time poems and placing it on the mantle for every one to observe while they cuddled around the fire!. As I leaned on my rake, smoke curling up from the burning leaves I had gathered from off my lawn, I saw all which you had penned!. But I also saw the end of my day, when my wife and I sat in the nook of the Dog and Partridge Pub!. The log fire in the huge fire place sent dancing shadows onto the old oak beams, as my wife leaned her head on my shoulder, her eyes half closed in dreamy contemplation while I mulled over your words!.

I snuggle in the early morn, and also late at night!.
I snuggle at most any time the mood is feeling right!.
I snuggle when I'm feeling good, and when I feel so bad!.
Whenever I am happy or whenever I am sad!.
A snuggle is a wondrous thing, I like them any time!.
And best of all a snuggle warm costs not a small thin dime!.
I thank you for your poem nice, my mind to stimulate!.
