So much lead
Weighty thoughts
Holding down

To right

Go
Gone
No need here
Just steer clear
To safe ground
To rebound

To replace
The taste
Of hope
That sits
On lips
So sweetly
They defeat me

Remnants remain
Scraping pain
From within
Thin skin
Again

I offend
