Question: Would you comment on a poem about mother and son!?
Late night phone call unexpectedly came, yet
not really, once again mother's instinct shown true!.
"Ma, I've hit rock bottom," he cried,
"I'm hurting and really in a bad way!."
"Put words to it, son," I firmly insisted,
"You can't solve what you can't define!."
Through tears, my beloved 34 year old
attempted to wrap words around his pain!.

To bed I went, knowing no sleep I'd find,
began to desperately pray night away!.
At 2:12 am I awakened with a start, wondering,
"When did prayers end, peaceful rest arrive!?"
God spoke His answer in voice so clear,
"Your prayers I heard tonight!.
I'm in control, go back to sleep!."
To my surprise, I turned over and did just that!

Morning email brought another shock,
son's boss wanting to know how to help!.
"What's going on!?" I gasped to myself,
"What does this cryptic message mean!?
Dear God in heaven, did son harm himself
to end wretched lonliness of his darkest night!?"
Thousands of miles away, what's a mother
to do when precious answers can't be found!?

Blessed relief, the phone just rang,
son's voice is there, but hollow in tone!.
"No, ma, don't pack your bags just yet,
think I can handle this on my own!."
I then remembered God's spoken words
clearly heard from night before!.
A mother's prayers offered in love so pure
fall not upon deaf ears; he is hardly on his own!.

i don't know what to sayWww@QuestionHome@Com

Any mother knows the torment of sleepless nights, praying fervently for the well-being of your beloved child!. You have expressed this so well that I was moved to tears!. This poem expresses the miracle of prayers heard, and of that solace in the hours of torment!. I am so happy that you shared this today!. Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ma thank you so much for sharing that!. We hope you will let us know how it turns out for your son!. You don't have to be specific!. We pray also he finds a peace in himself today and his situation improves!. yep God isn't deaf to a mother's cry for "assistance from a distance"!. It is good he called you to say he was hurting and to let you know he was sort of ok!.

The lighter side is everytime he calls you have to put down your knitting needles!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
