Pride

I imagine it would feel like silk or satin draped across freshly washed skin,
smell like the most expensive gardenia,
and taste like the first bite of sweet indulgence,

Passion

though after a while,
skin would dry, flake, and the dinginess of sheets would stick, causing abrasions and sores!.

The smell would turn into one of pungency, as sweet ferments, and rots-
blackens and gives to new life--

Poison

And tasting would be the cause of death!.

Though we'd never recognize it, as we don't recognize ourselves as we grow, until old friends or photos remind us!.

Pride is the beginning of emotional decay,

when we become unreachable and forget where we came from!.

A pride is a family of lions!. It usually consists of a dominant male and his females along with his offspring and the other adult males!. All the young ones would be his since he would not let any other males mate with the lionesses!. I never ate lion so I don't know what they taste like and I guess they would smell like lion poop!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
