I don't know what this love is,
I don't know what it takes to fly!.
I don't know how long it takes,
even to just try!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Bit short isn't it!?

If love should ever come by
I'll grow wings and start to fly
I don't need to learn how its done
I'll just soar towards the sun
All I have to do is try!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know what this poem is!.

If you really want to write poetry, you should take a look at a good book of poems, perhaps some Emily Dickinson, or "Leaves of Grass", or Shakespeare's sonnets!.

Consider this sonnet by Shakespeare:

"When to the sessions of sweet silent thought
I summon up remembrance of things past,
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,
And with old woes new wail my dear time's waste:
Then can I drown an eye, unused to flow,
For precious friends hid in death's dateless night,
And weep afresh love's long since cancell'd woe,
And moan the expense of many a vanish'd sight:
Then can I grieve at grievances foregone,
And heavily from woe to woe tell o'er
The sad account of fore-bemoaned moan,
Which I new pay as if not paid before!.
But if the while I think on thee, dear friend,
All losses are restor'd and sorrows end!."

Now consider what you wrote!. A good poem is a work of art, not something quickly dashed out!. Think about what you are trying to say, and think how the reader will hear it!. Take a week or two to come up with some ideas, throw them away, then write your poem!. When you finish, read it aloud to yourself!. If you are moved by what you wrote, then it's a good poem, no matter what anyone else thinks!. If you hear yourself and think, "Eh", then I think you'll know that more work is needed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
