i lost a friend today
and i lost a slice of my hope
hope that something so great would kick our bond alive again
and in hope that we would have other memories to cherish
just like the good old days
i remember things we done
so extraordinary, as if from the open of a palm, one million feathers would fly to the heavens above
slowly!.!.!.
without a care in the world we lived life to the full
grass stains and skint knees to show at the next early rise
with yet just another day to live with a smile
tears may fall so fast
and hit hard on the ground
erupting a noise in which i cannot stand
