My Thanks To the Real Poets Here

My spirit yearns to soar the lofty heights you attain
with careful rhyme your words sing a symphony
while marching across the page in cadence strong!.

You brush with artist's deft stroke across canvas
pure beauty in words, painting a masterpiece
visions seen with poet eyes more sighted than mine!.

With gifts of depth, love of language, an instinctive
weaver's knowledge you create rich tapestries of color
blending music, vision, expression pure and true!.

My spirit's own merit lacks such ability, yet remains
contentedly grateful to be transported to places
it could not go unless stowed beneath your gifted wings!.

Your spirit does soar each time you open a door to your heart and soul and express it in the written word!. You don't need to fly under the wings of someone else, because your wings are fine!. Believe in yourself and the depth of your own heart and spirit and don't compare your message to anyone else's!. Theirs is different and it should be, for this is YOUR song!. You write beautifully and from my perspective of poetry, it's the passion behind it that matters most, not that the style/ form conforms to what others think is perfectly correct!. Your poetry is lovely and I know it touches many in some way and that is what truly matters!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't underestimate yourself, ma! You are a real poet!.!.!.Buk is right, you lack nothing!. Poetry is not something in which we are to be compared with others -we each have our own method of expression, our own vision, our own story to relate!.
