"We Are Performers"
the strings jerk and the people dance accordingly!.
act one, scene one, the players perform accordingly!.
the show was written and is waiting,
for the performers to play their parts, it's waiting!.
the band plays the music and the and the players dance!.
the director waves his golden baton and the players dance!.
stage left, stage right, they melt together and become unclear!.
the beat of the music gets faster and the notes become unclear!.
the players dance on but none seem to remember the steps!.
the show has gone on for so long and they can't remember the steps!.
the audience wearies and begins to shuffle out the door!.
they march on towards the exit but cannot find the door!.
soon, it is hard to tell the players from the viewers
eventually the players stop their motion and become the viewers!.
the new players can not remember why they came,
but they know that they're being viewed by others who came!.
and now, the strings still jerk and the people still dance accordingly,
but now, act what!? scene what!? why are we dancing accordingly!?
it would be nice if more than three people told me what they think this time :) thanks!.!.
