Question: How is this for a poem!?
I'm searching for a jewel
Sparkling amidst an unknown
In wake of my journey
Floated among rivers
Rode upon camels
Across vast deserts
And narrow roads
Eying the jewel
Yet to shadow my eyes
Nor to caress my hands

Time is drifting away
As the waters shore washes ones footprints
No journey into the past
But a blink into the future
The jewel still lost
My hopes growing grim
My heart growing cold

But that shimmer of light
Mound of beauty
And priceless piece
A masterpiece
Still holds my interest
Captures my gaze

Reminding my of my impending doom
Tick tick!.!.!. goes the time
Measured by a clock

Continuously I search
To have and keep
A Jewel
A jewel in the eye of the beholderWww@QuestionHome@Com

I'm searching for a jewel
Unknown to me, it sparkles nevertheless
It has flowed in rivers
Rode upon by camels
It has been contained in vast deserts
And trod upon under narrow roads

This jewel is lost to me
Yet the shadow of it is within me
The jewel is not aware of time
It continues to drifting away as days pass by
As the waters shore washes ones footprints

My hopes growing grim
My heart growing cold
But that shimmer of light
Mound of beauty
And priceless piece
A masterpiece
Still holds my interest
Captures my gaze
Continuously I search
To have and keep
