The sun crept up on me today
Its orange yellow like stained glass
In the muted sky sounding the battle cry of day,
Wiping sleep from murky eyes!.
I am alive again surviving nights constricting arms
And storm flavored kisses!.
I rise and greet my time with disdain
As do all dark Angels riding the treadmill
Of anxiety racing into the fiery sky and a life!.
