Question: Would you know if someone came knocking!?
Would You!?

If God ordered a ‘special’ chip from Intel
and implanted in all our brains!.
Would we finally see we are all a part,
or would we keep trying to fix…
Windows 95!?

If God sent his breath across the Universe,
to touch each and every one of us!.
Would we finally see we are all a part,
or would we just take an Altoids…
and move on!?

If God ordered all eyes to gaze skyward
to see his greatness, his completeness there!.
Would we finally see we are all a part,
or would we just put on our Ray Bans…
to shield the light!?

If God, in frustration, came knocking at your door
to introduce himself, to confirm your faith!.
Would you finally see that you are a part,
or would you just hit ADT and call police,
an intruder in the yard!?

Would you!?

I don't understand computers in the first place, so no!.
Altoids give me heartburn so, again, no!.
I can't wear glasses due to one ear being a lot lower and my head being crooked due to a cyst in my brain, so no again!.
But if he came a knockin', to be completely honest, I would have the wife answer the door!. Not kidding either!. After she told me who it was I would invite him to sit on the back deck for a beer and a chat!. I'd let him do all of the talking at first, and I would really try to listen--I really would-- to what he had to say, but in the back of my mind I'd be going over my list of things I've always wanted to ask him!.
Why do you ask!? Did he say something to you about it!? You didn't give him my address did you!? I better get this place cleaned up!.
If he shows up I'm showin' him this poem!. That ought to be worth some favorable points!.
(He'd call first though--wouldn't he!?)Www@QuestionHome@Com

In my opinion, God did not create robots or androids, but creatures with the ability to doubt, think and reason!. We still have a long way to go!. I believe that most people are good and try to resolve their doubts without first resorting to violence!. Most people also take time to accept universal truths!. It is sometimes painful to accept reality!.

I apologize for not responding to the poem as I usually do, but the message seemed important here!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have fallen away from any organized religion, yet in my studies I have found one overwhelming truth!. Do you see the divinity in the mirror, in the postman, in everyone you come across!? I fail at times, but this has changed how I am as a person!. Everything changed, my view of me, you, and the world!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

To me, this poem beautifully represented the theme which I hold passionately close to my heart: our connectedness, about which I offered a poem recently myself!. To open all our eyes to this theme, to increase our awareness of it is a necessary goal!. In this effort, I feel you not only met that goal, but surpassed it!. Thank you!.

I see what you're going for, and I agree with the 'fairly' universal idea!. For me, this is a little long!. Poetry is like a chore my wife makes me do!. It's even worse than that!. It's my job!. I want to be in love with the poet by line 3 and I want the near-orgasmic climax a few moments later!. You are a good cantor, telling the people what they need to hear!. I just don't want to sit through the whole service!. PPWww@QuestionHome@Com

Well now, I tremble to think to second guess God, "I give you peace
but the peace I give is not of this world"
So He must have known it is progress not perfection, and blessed us
with Amazing Grace!

I think we all know we are apart of, or the most of us anyway!. Many
just don't care!. I did like your poem though, as always!. And
enjoyed Mixtli"s answer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If God took back all
he had given to man,
Would we have Peace!.

The Brain and the logic,
are what's missing in this
so called Humane Race!.

They were both given,
By Gods own faith,
Ti's man himself,
That destroys
whet little is left,

Of Our World!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm really sad I don't see the meaning of this poem!.
It must be something not very subtle but it is missing me!. Honestly!
Thus I cannot say if I like your poem or not!.

Sad thing!. The Clear ones are the Best, in my point of view, and God would let me know if it would be necessary, even by repeated knockings!. The good right things and actions worth any possible work!.

Blessings!Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is amazing in my eyes!.
You have delivered a very wonderful message!.
Not being a church goer, but a spiritual believer I would like to thank you for this morning's at-home sermon!.
May we all be always aware of His mighty presence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
