Question: Need help in poem analysis!?
please help!. :(

poem #1

There is sadness
in hearing conversations stop
or finding out a loss of friends
the fading hollows out
your soul
and leaves you by yourself
staring at details
like frogs and snail
and what to do
The sadness grows and grows
like a tree without leaves

1!. what experience is described in the words "hearing the conversations stop"!?
2!. what is the central theme of the poem!?

poem #2

It was the kind of afternoon
that stirred madness
from the bottom
like a spoon
The knife went in
with blood like words
formed out of open mouths
Passengers thought of escape
waiting for God or something quick
they did not move
(the driver's face looked unfamiliar)
When everything was safe
the passengers discussed
the plans which were so late
(he had a knife)
They would come home
of an interesting story
to tell

1!. What type of afternoon is described in the opening of the poem!?
2!. How did the passengers react with the incident!?
3!. What is the author trying to say!? Relate other experiences or stories which manifest the same theme!.

*each number should be in essay form!. :DWww@QuestionHome@Com
