I was lost; correction, my mind
Was lost, and I did not know
When I would hopefully find
My soul!. I woke feeling low
And a pain was upon my head!.
Not a headache as you might assume,
But a cut, by a nightmare, and said
To myself "What a dream!", a dream of doom
Of past events that I lived while others died!.
Died!. Many died!. I lived!. In sleep I drown
Not in water, but in my heart, and on my side
Is no one that can help, lest they even try!.
And I try!. I try daily What's the use
When chemicals made by man are but a lie!?
And in the words of Hesse, "It is easier
to die than to live!." So live and challenge life no
Matter what tribulations come your way!.
Truly it is easier said then done!. Feeling low
Is when the fight to live begins; and you say
"I will choose a date and do it then!."
