I glide off again in cyberspace
I drift off again & again and type words
that leave no trace
to my thoughts as traffic lights
on this page
even though I’m full of angst and haste
it sounds to me like a lot of waste
some people can’t always see my taste
Words that climb
& scratch at the wall
Words that tumble, float
In the suburban sprawl
Words that shout and fall
Other words live it up
Laugh
In the ball
why does this always come down to fate!?
or is it that i missed
that train & my date !?
who was standing at the gate
with a laughing monkey
In her arms with a cigar
shouting
eating pate & fish fries on her plate
I Cant really see her
as she only stands
four feet two!?
Now I understand
why our love fell through
I think she took a flight to
Timbuktu
to meet her one eyed
pet cockatoo
called Kalamazoo
