Laundry Day

Contemplating laundry,
act of homely beauty
too often overlooked!.
Collect all from hamper
take to the machine, or
to a rock by the stream!.
Sort by type and hue,
it would not do to have
colors bleeding to death!.
Look, here is the stain from
working in my garden, knees
muddy, garden weed free!.
Spilled wine on tablecloths
a feast with dearest friends!.
a fair and happy time!.
Jelly stain, little boy’s
picnic with teddy bear
and both need cleaning now!
All will be made new, clean
canvas for life’s brushes
till time to wash again!.

I love my set of china,
of China they are not,
are not what I wanted,
I wanted a crock pot!.
A crock pot I was given,
given to me by my friend,
my friend then dropped it,
dropped it on its end!.
on its end it came crashing,
came crashing down below,
down below on top of,
on top of my big toe!.

Great Poem really inventive!.!.!.also reminds me of My wife's and I's code words for sex "doin' the laundry" the other night she came to bed late and said "hey you want to do the laundry!?" i said " Nah it was a small load i did it by hand"Www@QuestionHome@Com
