But She was a Living Being…
Lady with the curbside sway
born of parents apart their ways!.
Destined to live the other side
but she was a living being!.
Seven times the gun did echo
seven times bullets entered!.
Quickly forgotten…current news
and evening meals were served!.
He stood trial, sad… penitent
claiming provocation…self defense
only seven times the gun did echo
victim’s voices!?!.!.!. memories…
Iron bars do rehabilitate!
Parole at hand, play the game
society's rules only treat results!
‘Repent’ now for your freedom!.

Yes, she was a living being!. Thank you for reminding us that all of life is precious!. Not to mention that youf last stanza is quite converbial, or maybe just controversial!. I will be pondering those four lines for a very long time!.!.!.iron bars do not rehabilitate, they hold memories that fester and infect!. "and evening meals were served" The most horrific actions are reported in our evening news TV broadcasts while we are eating yet I bet very few people stop eating at that time, because of it!.
