An I Remember When
i know everyone's times comes!.
the saying lifes the short is truer!.
then people like to think!.
its like just yesterday my life was filled with
friends gathered in my front yard,
playing silly little games like hide 'n go seek,
laughter could be heard from our street corner
love that you felt in your chest after your first kiss
& so much happiness
i took all those things for granted!.
even thought they may seem small to others
they meant the world to me
now that its become the past
i wish i would have slown down
not rushed everything like i had!.
i wish i would have took time
to enjoy the times i sent with those two
that i hold in my heart and miss dearly
we made a pact to be friends forever
life got in the way of our plan
but i no they still think of me
just as i still think of them
sometimes a wind breeze
or the smell of a new season will remind me
of those fun filled days i had with them
and ill think of the times we stayed out til 4
the times we played jokes on my grandfather
the long talks we shared
the truth n dares
there was never a dull moment with us was there
Death being so close like it is right now!.
really makes you think
It makes you wanna slow everything down!.
So you dont miss things as much when there gone!.
just like everything else this to will soon become
Just a faded memory
the sadness will pass
fade out to just a story
of what had happened along time ago!.
or an i remember when!.
