My Sweet Summer Thoughts
Setting sun!.
orange pastel!.
Purple heart!.
Gazing blue!.
We sit
and we watch!.
I miss you
when you leave me!.
The moon hangs in the sky
for one more night
and we sit and listen to the silence!.
When stars shoot by
I only wish for one thing!.
You!.
The sun rises one more day!.
only to be covered in clouds!.
Those blasted gray clouds!.
The water droplets so fine
and perfect
wet my face!.
They cleanse me and I wait!.
It down pours and I run!.
Run endlessly
to you!.
We meet
and our arms touch!.
Mine are wrapped around your neck
and I whisper a sweet secret
in your ear!.
You smile and I
smile back at you!.
I look deep in your eyes and see
a heart!.
No
a soul of happiness!.
I love your eyes
because they tell me
what I want to know!.
