I wrote this recently but I am not sure it is worthy to be called a poem!. However I would still like some feedback on what everyone thinks of it!. Thanks in advance for all your comments
I Got a Broken Heart
I remember the day I met her
She was an angel without wings
I was so scared that I couldn’t breathe
She smiled and took away my fears
Her words soothed away all my tears
I got a broken heart
But I have wings
I fly to her in my dreams
Where I hold her tight in the night
And love her with all my might
I remember how I held out my arms
She took me in her embrace
I remember the fear that faded
When she smiled like an angel child
And said I love you baby
I got a broken heart

I remember our dreams
But then someone saw us
They took one look and took them away
I remember the heartache when she told me
I remember the tears we cried
