Go near the river and look for my man On the rocks near the swans there he stand Run near the ocean by the sand And look for him there he stands Near the lake by the rocks Dancing in his silly socks I Trust him hand by hand And you should to because hes my man Youll learn how to swin with his hands Everywhere the oceans meets there he stands Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'm sorry to be mean but if you want this to be a serious love poem, he might laugh at the "dancing in his silly socks part"!. A good poem does not have to rhyme!. When you're just starting out, rhyming can make a poem sound forced or childish!. I think you should probably start over and just used the first line!. My suggestion on the lines is to have it say something like, "Go to the river and look for my man" because it flows better!.
