Question: Help with a poem I'm writing!?

This is for english homework by the way!.

I need something that describes 'dreams', this is the 4th paragraph:
I hate your guilt, your greed, your wants
Your stupid hair, the things you flaunt
Your deadened hope, your ___ dreams
(A line here I've yet written!.!.!.!.!.)

I was going to say crushed, but that doesn't fit in what I'm writing about (I need a word that is sort of meaing "impossible" or "hopeless" that has 2 syllables)

Or Replace that with this:
